Kevin Orfan
Kevin joined Sharp in March 2019 as President of Sharp and is responsible for our overall business including clinical trial services and commercial packaging.
Kevin’s background is in contract manufacturing (CMO) services, pharmaceutical services and medical device industries. His previous experience includes roles as Vice President of Pfizer CentreOne contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and Vice President of One2One Contract Manufacturing services at Hospira. He holds a BSc in Business Administration and Finance.
Jeffrey Benedict
Jeff joined Sharp in 2008 and as Chief Commercial Officer he manages and supports client relationships, business development and growth for the global commercial packaging business.
Before joining Sharp, he worked for Alcoa Packaging for 13 years in roles including Quality Assurance Manager, Technical Director, National Accounts Manager, Sales Director, and Head of Business Development for Global Pharmaceutical Packaging.
Jeff, who is a decorated veteran, served in the US Army as a combat arms officer in the United States, Europe and Middle East. He has a BSc in Public Administration and a Master’s Equivalency from the United States Army in Organization and Tactics.
Grace Breen
Grace joined Sharp in 2023 as Senior Vice President, Global Quality. She leads the Quality function across our global network, is responsible for fostering a Quality culture within Sharp and enabling an effective Pharmaceutical Quality System that consistently meets client and regulatory requirements.
Grace’s career spans 30+ years in the biopharma industry and she has held global leadership position in Catalent, Hospira, Impax and SCA Pharma. Grace has a B.S. in Chemistry from University College Cork, Ireland, an M.S. in Chemistry from Dublin City University, Ireland, and a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (EU QP) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
James Hamilton
James joined Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing (BSM), a subsidiary of Sharp, in May 2024 after more than 25 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Strategy. Prior to joining BSM, James held the position of Vice President, U.S. Technical Operations with Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
James started his career with Forest Laboratories (later acquired by Allergan) in Quality Assurance, and over the next 20 years, he took on roles of increasing responsibility at both the site and corporate level, including VP of Global Strategy and Operational Excellence and as Plant General Manager for Allergan’s sterile facility in Waco, Texas. After leaving Allergan, James led Operations for Renaissance Lakewood, a CDMO specializing in nasal sprays and sterile injectables.
He holds a BA in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from Northern Kentucky University.
Michael Moes
Michael joined Sharp in 2022 as Senior Vice President, Global Operations and is responsible for identifying and implementing continuous process, productivity and cost improvements while increasing asset and resource utilization to support Sharp’s ongoing growth.
His career spans more than 20 years where he has been responsible for supply chain operations at West Pharmaceutical Services, Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth, Pfizer and Endo Pharmaceuticals.
Michael is a former U.S. Marine Corps officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has earned an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
Robert O’Beirn
Rob joined Sharp in March 2019 and is SVP and Managing Director of our Clinical Services Business. Rob leads the commercial packaging EU business as well as the global clinical trial services business. He supports Sharp’s ambitious growth targets both organically and inorganically.
Before joining Sharp, Rob was Director of Corporate Development at UDG Healthcare. He has an MA in Politics and a Master of Laws in E-commerce and Commercial Law.
Ray Reilly
Ray joined Sharp in 2016 and leads our people function across the globe. Ray establishes the global human resources strategy ensuring it supports local business initiatives.
Ray has over 20 years’ experience in the medical outsourcing field and has a wide breadth of experience in hospital setting operations. Ray is a Certified Professional in Human Resources and holds an MA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a BSc in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management.
Rick Seibert
Rick has over 35 years’ industry experience and has responsibility for global technology services and corporate development, including IT infrastructure, engineering and strategic business initiatives. Rick joined Sharp in 2004 after holding senior roles at B. Braun Medical.
Rick has a BA of Arts in Applied Sciences, a BSc in Industrial Engineering, an MSc in Manufacturing System Engineering, an MBA in Management, a post-MBA Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Marketing and a Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practices. He is also certified in Production and Inventory Management by APICS, has a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute and has a Green Belt Six Sigma Certification from Villanova University.
Andrew Serota
Andrew is Sharp’s Counsel and Company Secretary. Andrew leads Sharp’s legal department and is responsible for all legal and corporate governance matters. Andrew collaborates with the executive team to advance Sharp’s broader aspirations and also works closely with the global business development and commercial teams to craft contracts tailored to each client.
Andrew joined Sharp in 2021. Prior to joining Sharp, Andrew served as in-house counsel and Secretary to UDG Healthcare where he specialized in complex commercial transactions and regulatory compliance. Andrew attended the Syracuse University College of Law.
Roger Sim
Roger joined Sharp in May 2022 and leads all aspects of finance across each of the Sharp businesses. His responsibilities include corporate finance functions including audit, treasury, tax, insurance, operations planning and analysis, corporate controllership and business finance & analytics.
Prior to joining Sharp, Roger held several leadership roles with private equity owned manufacturing and packaging companies, as well as large global public companies and smaller privately held businesses. His knowledge and experience in finance as well as with mergers and acquisitions, procurement, IT and operations are critical to Sharp, as the organization continues to focus on expansion and growth to support the needs of our clients.
Roger received his Joint Honours degree in Computer Science and Accounting from The University of Manchester in England. He is a Chartered Accountant of England and Wales.
